However, you will need high speed internet connections and you will have to purchase a router. We recommend the Linksys RT31P2-NA router. The router is available from www.voipsupply.com for around $90.00 You can plug in your normal landline or wireless phone. If you already have a different router, we recommend the purchase of the Linksys PAP2 telephone adapter for your phone connections..  In both cases pay attention to rebates valid only if you sign up with Vonage services. Pannon allows its customers to use any service while others limit their customers choices.
Free calls: we allow our customers to call each other, using our IPS for free. Is it going to stay free? Once we see substantial use of our system, we will offer packages that will be very competitive and will allow Pannon to provide service in the future as well.

Important: due to its technical complexity, we cannot help with the installation or troubleshooting of the router or the adapter. If you are not technically adept in router setup, get technical help and support locally.

How does IPS work:
Once your router is working, we will assign a 7 digit phone number to you, along with a password. Callers from within the system will be able to reach you by dialing the 7 digit number. Likewise, you will dial a 7 digit number to reach another Pannon IPS customer. If you wish to call outside the IP system, dial as usual: 1+ area code, 011 + country code etc.. There is no voice message involved as you are already recognized with your password.
